Same day matters most when there is a risk to people or a business: a wasp nest by a door or play area, rodents in a food business, a possum inside the living area, or a strong dead animal smell. Those jobs are put at the front of the queue.
Some problems are better handled properly than quickly. Termites should not be disturbed before an inspection, and bed bugs need the room prepared first. For those, we can often inspect today and treat when the home is ready.

What to do before we arrive
A few simple steps keep people and pets out of harm's way and make the job quicker once we get there.
- Wasp nest: keep everyone away and do not spray it or block the hole, which makes wasps find another way out
- Possum inside: close internal doors to that room, open an outside door or window, turn off the lights and leave it alone
- Rodent in a food business: stop using the affected area and cover or discard exposed food

Honest answers about same day pest control
Sometimes today is not possible
On a very busy day, or for outer suburbs late in the day, we may not make it. We say so on the call and book the earliest slot.
A possum can be caught today, but released tonight
Victorian rules require a trapped possum to be released on your property, within 50 metres, after sunset. Proofing the entry point is what really fixes it.
Wasps are best treated late in the day
Most wasps are back in the nest by dusk, so an evening visit often clears more of the nest than one at midday.
